Quote log: what was read, Hipobuy notices and community channels

Last updated 16 October 2026. In this edition we drove the estimator in a real browser for the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Canada and Italy at 1,000 g and 30 × 20 × 10 cm, saved the responses the page received, and fetched the Show More record for all 90 lines able to carry the parcel.

We also read the site configuration (where the discount tag text and the 25% value live), the display rate, a market reference rate, and the help articles on fees, coupons, billing weight, inspection, customs, receipt and the company itself.

All 90 bold figures and 90 struck figures matched the data fields named on this site. The only thing we could not test was switching the display currency to euros; the currency menu did not respond to our automated browser.

Hipobuy posts notices in its help centre without dates on the page, so we list them with the day we read them. Those that bear on quotes:

• The Rehearsal Parcel feature release: a 20 CNY service that weighs and measures a packed parcel before you pay for shipping. Notice.
• A peak-season notice about scarce cargo space on flights, crowded ports and slower last-mile delivery. Notice.
• A customer service delay notice after a failure on the third-party chat platform. Notice.
• A holiday notice saying order, warehouse and shipping services run as usual over the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays. Notice.

Hipobuy links two community spaces from its own pages: a Discord server and the subreddit r/Hipobuy_. We checked both links before publishing.

Threads there are a good place to see screenshots of cards and parcel pages from other users, which is the closest thing to a public record of how quotes turned out. Read them as individual reports, with their dates, not as official answers.

We do not quote member counts or ratings; they change daily and say little about how a quote is calculated.

These are editorial recheck targets, not promises that the data remains valid until then. Prices, availability and promotions may change immediately; re-run your own quote before paying:
